I don't think ATPG would be a host mafia in a Pepperoni game. I do however think that the beefy one could be mafia, in a game where people are categorized by what they had at dinner.

We're seeing lots of strange things already.
I think this game requires a lot of communication on thread. Though trying not to reveal too much information.
And also to get into Pizzas brain in terms of game design.

1. Three approach
From the OP we are given 2 approach.
Either we go after the mafia. Or we go after "Beef" who "escaped the game", "Doesn't play by the rule" and "killed everyone"

Notice how we already have the name of the mafia "Chicken and Soup"
We already know there is CHICKEN team and BEEF team.
Mafia "Chicken and Soup" could mean mafia might be hiding amongst "Chicken" team and "Soup team" (If there is one)
Or Pizza is lying about WEW and he was one of the mafia.

We also know that there is a BEEF team.
Same could be said about the identity of "Beef"
Either there is one hiding amongst the BEEFs or JHT was "Beef""

There is Ninja Cow and Beefy in this game. But thats just a coincidence I think.
The OP was written before I even decided to come back to org. Or to join this game.
So I don't think our user name has got something to do with that.

I've mentioned 2 approaches. The third will be to go after the Pizzaguy.
With our objections vague apart from the pm which says that we are innocent, I don't exactly know who I need to lynch to spare my self from cruel death.
So far Pizza is doing both day lynches and Night kills. So at current only thing killing is the pizzaguy.

Also he also said "I can finally be johnhughthom!!" in the previous write up, which could hint what he is trying to do.

2. Why we shouldn't lynch ATPG

Still I don't think lynching ATPG is a wise plan, just yet.
We clearly know that the guy who is killing us innocents write now is Askvaard Von Pizzaguy, which clearly seems to be the host ATPG.

But we shouldn't kill him because

a. The game is called "The Return of Askvaard Von Pizzaguy". His name is the title of the game. Votes on him seems to be valid. Which suggests that he is some how related to our victory condition. His lynch will at least stop us from the immediate risk of him killing people. But I also consider these negative effects

3. Askvaard Von Pizzaguy is the only town executor

Lynching is so far done by Askvaard Von Pizzaguy. Lynching him could mean that we have to take execution matters into our own hands.
This may seem to be no problem but the Op post concerns me.

Serial killers are allowed. No cults allowed. No third party roles allowed other than serial killer.

It doesn't say "Serial Killer is in the game" it says "allowed"
I may be wrong but it sounds like there is a opportunity to turn into a serial killer under some circumstances.
Lynching of Askvaard Von Pizzaguy could activate the trigger of turning into a serial killer.

Also because

4. Askvaard Von Pizzaguys intentions

In the op he clearly states "Beef escaped. He killed everyone. I have to stop him"
If "Beef" is against us, than Askvaard Von Pizzaguy who wants to stop him could work as our asset.

Conclusion: Lynching Pizzaguy is valid. and it may provide us good loads of information. But i'm not sure if its the right time to do it just yet.
Considering the other leads we have so far is relatively weak apart from Montmorencys' open claim of being mafia, Pizza lynch seems to be a decent option.
But considering the negatives which could get triggered from it, I'd say keep him on a leash for a time being.

5. Montmorency

He made a open claim of being mafia and being responsible for the kills.
He may be pulling a dangerous stunt, being a silly townie I don't know.
But I remember someone (was it ACIN?) suggesting that he has a team mate or something who is voting with him.

This incredibly obvious mafias could mean that they are not so much of a threat. Either that or they are messing with our brains.
I don't know but they have to be observed too.

Also, iirc the mafia was supposed to get 2 kills last night. Why was there only one?

6. "Alive", "Dead", "Actually Dead"

Another point worth discussing. Both killed and the lynched are listed in the "Actually dead" and so far, no one is "Dead"
We don't have information on this just yet, but if someone can get inside pizzas head or at least get close to it by discussing on thread, I would love to discuss that.

7.Food
So far we know that there are Chicken and Beef. We could have a soup.
We don't know what these are used for. We should be careful to reveal what food we have as it could be directly related to the baddies victory conditions.
But when the time is right, we should share many information as possible.

8. Name

We are given different names. JHT was given a name "jht without a face"
(Could be a hint of something. Assuming that most players have names of different players)

WEW was given the name "Winston Hughs", mafia player on Civ Fanatics who I remember playing with a couple times on the Org as well.
I also have a different name. iirc a mafia player who is not in this game and havn't seen for a while.

I'm not sure what this purpose is either just yet.
I'd also love to discuss this as well, though this could also be related to the baddies victory conditions.

Consider the strict bounds on game rulesets in the new League system.

You were in no danger of being lynched with two votes, and even now are in no danger unless the host is immune. And I do believe the assumption of immunity is most sensible under this setup.

I may be wrong but it sounds like there is a opportunity to turn into a serial killer under some circumstances.

Flavor, surely. I'm guessing these are the players that participated in a precursor game in the series, randomly assigned with whatever associated roles they may possess.

The host, in his personal commission, guarantees one kill, but the second is probabilistic. Bad luck, is all.

I must say, I haven't seen this type of speculation in these here parts for a while now. One thing I will note: with 30 players, and 10% roles, we may deduce that there are up to three townie roles to counteract the two scum.

Never understood the arguments for a random chosen kill on day 1. Statistically it is completely dumb to have a random vote where the vast majority is innocent.

Correct, if you implemented it all the way through. But doing it on just day one is dumb because it's practically a free death for the mafia. I guess it's the same reason as not doing it the entire game, an abstaining day 1 is boring.
