What is your quickest campaign finish?

I am playing the Eastern Roman Empire on VH/M and I am on track for around a 20-25 turn finish. I have seven provinces to capture with all of the specific cities taken, bar Rome, which is suffering a plague and under siege, and two other ten-unit armies in the north of Italy which should be adequate to capture all of Italy and win the campaign.

It's entirely possible. Give the WRE a try Or wait for the Huns. Or play VH/VH. A quick victory is possible for the ERE because they start with most of the needed regions and have a great economy and army.
