Default Silent Assassin Surprise *potential drama alert* :)

Hi all, I was doing some random nostalgic googling this morning and I decided to look up my old clan the "Silent Assassins." Found some pretty interesting things; our history is embedded with drama.

I would like to further expose the history of the clan in public and have an open discussion about it because I think it would be interesting (if anyone is interested, of course) :).

I was just a high school kid at the time, but throughout the course of my work with the clan, I recruited two (2) players with PhD credentials (Stygian, who was a former Mizu player, Electrical Engineering, and Abdul_Qahaar, whose SA name escapes me at this time, also Electrical Engineering), won three (3) CWC titles, won the TWC 3v3 competition, and went 22-0 on the MTW:VI 1v1 ladder. We also had a hand (or attempted) in the infiltration of several other clans (RTK, Mizu, Grey Wolves), but never gained any useful information as a result of it, which was actually a bit disappointing because we put a lot of work into it.

We were known for our rush strategies, but actually adopted to more of Mizu's playstyle in the Winter CWC to defeat them; Mizu, in my opinion, had the best teamwork, strategies, and execution of any other clan besides us. Although, I will note, that we *barely* beat RTK in the TWC 3v3 competition--they had an extremely strong team and they actually took us by surprise. I remember that they fielded Lionel because he was very strong; however, I cannot remember the other two. I believe it was possibly Kay and Tristan.

Further to the history of our designed and executed rush strategies, the community may have never realized that this tactic had a deep history in Total War. I used to study replays of the player from the Fear clan named "Amped," whose name any veteran here should instantly recognize. I initially adopted and refined many of his tactics in 1v1, and expanded upon them in both 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4. A player named DeathBY Apple, who few even knew, but was actually one of the best total war players in existence. He was rarely around, so we didn't even field him in most of our tournament wins. We never lost a game fielding him. By studying his gameplay, we really refined the overall strategy for an attack, and although I don't play TW anymore, I know for sure that all of these tactics would still apply. They are fundamental.

Anyways, if there are any players or veterans that are curious about anything, feel free to ask. I'll answer any question honestly and to the best of my ability. This is all for nostalgic reasons, so it is in good fun.

Ahh the good old days. Happy memories.

    BTW Nice to see you.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.
