Linked videos are just a white box. On youtube it just says an error has occurred.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player a couple of times but it still persists.

Install Chrome and try. Chrome has Flash Player inbuilt into it, should let you know if it is Firefox or something to do with your OS.

Thanks. It is Firefox on this machine. It works fine on the other. Strange…

If you are running NoScript you have to give permission; not always obvious which, of the many things blocked, you need to give permission to :(
