Default website showing 3d image of Tigranakert helpful info for EB2

    http://peopleofar.wordpress.com/category/history/

I stumbled onto this website by accident, and saw the reconstruction of Tigranakert in 3d. During King Tigran the Great reign he build several cities called Tigranakert. The word literaly means buid or created by Tigran. The 3d rendering on this website is of the Tigranakert in Artsakh in the east of Armenia. This image can be used to construct the Armenian cities in EB2.

Yeah, Tigranes the Great is pretty far after the starting time period of EB. As to the size of the city, the rendering doesn't (and probably can't) display the numbers of the impermanent structures that would have accumulated around such a city, unless of course the surrounding geography prevents such buildings.

In Armenian Tigranacert/Tigranakert is a compound word meaning build/created (Certel/Kertel- to create or build) by Tigran. So there were many Tigranakerts during his reign. There was his Capital, and many other cities build by him throughout Armenia. This particular one is in Artsakh in the east of Armenia a very mountainous area.
