Siege exploit

Ok I found this exploit while defending my Bosphoran cities. This works if you have stone walls and a few units of archers (It may also work if you have a unit of horse archers and the enemy has nothing to counter it)

What you do is sally and place all of your archers on the wall. If you have stone walls the AI usually starts with its army in range of your archers. Start the battle and watch your archers decimate the ranks. Then, when the enemy army has moved out of range, end the battle (it will be a draw).

Afterwards, save the game and then reload it. When you reload it you will see that you can sally again. Repeat the archer on the wall thing. Repeat this 4-5 times and the enemy army will be destroyed in one turn.

Yeah, I used this when fighting the hordes of Ptolies in my Getai campaign. Rather unsporting, but when your cities are betting besieged without pause by fullstack after fullstack, what can ya do?

Play on a lower campaign difficulty level.

I dunno about easy but even on medium Ptolies(or the AS) can dispach some serious stacks, over and over again.

Then cheat auto_win. At least both sides still take losses.
