Thread: Iranian 'shortcoming'.

    Default Iranian 'shortcoming'.

So Iran recently held a conference for 'Non-Aligned' countries in Tehran (not sure what 'non-aligned' means here but never mind). One of the big names that turned up (Putin, the Autocrat of all the Russias, being too busy) was Mohammed Morsi, the new owner of the Egyptian Swiss Banks accounts.

Sadly for Iran Mr Morsi turned out to be not as 'non-aligned' as they would have liked. He proceeded to denounce the Assad regime in Syria;“The Palestinian and Syrian people are fighting for freedom, justice and dignity,” and said Assad had lost his legitimacy. Of course Iran doesn't like this as they are backing Assad and lost some Republican Guard 'pilgrims' not long ago in Damascus.

So when the Morsi speech was televised by IRIB, the State broadcaster, the word 'Syrian' was replaced by 'Bahraini'. Oops.

I start to believe that Fox News is the equivalent of this high pitched LA-LA-A-AA-A--A-A-A-AA--A-A-A--A-A-A-A-A network.

Non-Aligned, neither allies of US or Russia. Back from the Cold War days when you had to pick a side.

The sooner it falls the better, I think Iran will become our most valuable ally one day. They can't keep this up forever the regime will fall, Iranians are very civilized people with an absolutely sick government.

I bet Marsi is none too happy and Bahrain have lodged a complaint. So much for 'non -aligned' in Tehran!
