Thread: Apologies for the Downtime
Server was misbehaving and needed a spanking. It seems to have learned its lesson, for now.
Apparently it needs more spanking.
We're trying to figure why it's been misbehaving. Apologies in advance if there is future downtime, but be assured that we're working on it.

It's actually not necessarily a coincidence. Yesterday and today both occurred during the daily backup, which occurs early morning US time as that's when activity is lowest. We're trying to figure out whether the backup itself is the issue or whether it's just a symptom of something else.Funny how it goes down when you are asleep over there.
