Its like none of my brethren have seen a US Army uniform before.
Im in the ROTC program so on Thursdays we wear our uniforms all day, since we have field training later in the day. So today I wanted to get some food and talk with some of my Jewish friends so I go to the Kosher dining hall.

I felt like all eyes were on me. Except the awesome black lady who works the buffet counter. She said "Awww hell yeahhh!" and gave me a high-five when she saw me.
But I seriously felt like the vast majority of Jews where I am have no idea what a US Army uniform looks like, judging by the stares and questioning looks I got.

Theres a reason I hang out more with my non-Jewish friends.

I dont have peyot like you see the religious people having. I have neatly trimmed sideburns in accordance with US Army grooming policies. I wear a kippah only in the Kosher dining hall out of respect to the locals.

There are over 8,000 Jews at my university, and around 1,500 keep kosher, so yeah, a sticker wouldnt work. But the sticker thing sounds nice. Then Id be able to eat breakfast with my ROTC buddies instead of eating my lonely breakfast in my dorm room since if you arent on the non-kosher meal plan you can eat in the non-kosher dining hall and the breakfasts at the kosher dining hall suck.
