    Default Installing an old game

Hey there, I've been trying to install an old game of mine called Incoming. I have the CD, and have tried installing it off the CD to no avail, and changing compatibility mode hasn't helped either. I can't get it to run in DosBox either. My OS is Windows 7 by the way.

Any help would be appreciated in getting the game to run, as I would like to replay it again (and not have to pay for it ).

We had a HP back then, still have a soft spot for them. I was surprised to hear that people used to have issues back then with Incoming, must've had a good computer.

What exactly is the error you are encounting? I can't tell from the post whether it's an error installing or an error launching.

Error installing, sorry. I load up setup, and it says it can't run it, something about not able to run in 64 bit windows, and something else about 16bit. So I booted up dosbox, followed instructions, and I couldn't get it to run that way either.

Yeah, that's common with really old games. Unfortunately, I don't have much advice on dosbox issues because I don't have a copy of the game myself to play around with. If you can't find anything useful on google, I'd recommend just buying the game from GoG. Sometimes it's just worth it to pay a couple extra dollars for a copy which works fine on modern computers.

Not familiar with windows 7 but you used to be able to put Windows on 95 mode
