Nope, quite the opposite, that's what I'd see happening with the "no lynch" scenario: day phases of little to none information, and a final lynch, with no ground for investigation and the perfect place for the scum to mingle...

For example, now I have infos about you saying I'm not scum and voting to save yourself against me in a tie ^^

Montmorency 18:10 10-14-2012
Alright, let's be clear.

Right now, we have 6. We vote to lynch, tomorrow will be LYLO with 4 players. I'm voting you because that's clearly going to happen, yet you deny it.

What I said was a ploy to get scum to NK you. Of course, I still stand by the "Arjos is scum in every minigame" maxim.

Talk to me.

It in't too late to switch to No Lynch...

I still think that you are the killer...
My death and your "saving my ass-breaking tie unvote", will corroborate it ^^

Still if he just watches like now, this will go on a lot lol

To recap, the idea was to create a lynchbait and see the reactions...

Visor and Jarema were quite rational and usually scum doesn't join wagons on baits...
Memnon has been circumvent and kinda vague...
While JHT, nonchalant and played in the split town scenario, he's my top pick atm...

DAY TWO

Arjos: 2 (Jarema, Visorslash)

Montmorency: 1 (johnhughthom)

johnhughthom: 1 (Memnon)

No Lynch: 2 (Monty, Arjos)

Lazy’s cramping body shook as he reached for the mighty warhammer. The magical items that were trying to persuade the warrior to keep them all piped down, as they seemed to sense his intent.

When it came to crushing enemies - quite literally: The Exalted Kersplatten was a weapon beyond compare and despite his discomfort Lazy held the weapon fondly before steeling his resolve.

With a dramatic swing, McCrow sent the warhammer arcing out over the ravine - his eyes tracking its descent into the clouds below. No doubt there would be some poor creature reduced to dust when the weapon finally completed its fall, but Lazy just felt mild relief. Hopefully now the curse would be lifted and his journey could continue with renewed hope.

IT IS NIGHT TWO - orders to me in the next 24 hours.

Please note that I chose to accept a positive lynch vote over a no-lynch vote - even though the two were tied.

Jarrema has got to go for our next lynch. However, we are three townies down now. We have to no lynch and take our chances on who the mafia kills tonight. Most likely it will be me (I do say that a lot, but I am the most townie of you all). JHT seems town for blatantly saying don't discuss, which I find a nonscummy way of approaching things for him. With that in mind, the mafia has to be one of Jarrema and Monty or Memnon. I must admit, Memnon is up there with lynch suspects. However, we must no lynch tomorrow, as to have a 3 player endgame, which will be much better odds wise, plus even if the killer kills me, there will still be other suspects he must kill.

This is LYLO.

No lynch with 4 players would result in two players the next day phase, also known as scum victory.

Actually tomorrow there should be 4 players and with no lynch, the next day there would be 3 (hopefully 2 townies and the killer)...

Yeah, of course. To me, you seem to be one of the scummiest player in this mini. I do not have time for analysis now, but anyway, it is night

The Earthsplitter was a sword so legendary, it made legends themselves seem like the idle gossip of fisherwives. The flaming fury of its blade dealt such damage that there were still entire races out there in the wilderwastes of the world, who worshipped the artifact as their one true God. It was also, Lazy had surmised, a monumental pain in the arse to carry about without singeing your ...your … well ...your arse.

But that made it no easier on the warrior, when he pulled the magic items from the sack in the morning, to find the firey sheen of the blade was dulled, its brightness lost to shadow and its magic, it’s wonderous, dangerous magic, so utterly disappeared.

Montmorency has been killed

The loss of the blade, though harsh, paled in comparison to the pain Lazy’s guts were causing him, Looking down at his forearms, he noticed a deathly pallor to his skin and began to be afraid. The curse was like no other he had witnessed. It’s insidious creeping terror gnawed at Lazy til his eyes bulged, At which point as was so often the case, his fear turned to anger.

‘Which of you IS IT!?’ he shook his trembling fists at the remaining magical items.

Which of you indeed?

Day Three is apon us and shall last 24 to 36 hours

Lazy sat staring stubbornly at the magical items laid out before him. The last thing the majority had uttered was their own stubborn refusal to have any of them discarded. Some kind of
solidarity amongst magical artifacts that Lazy respected to a degree, but which didn’t help ease the now-obvious physical metamorphosis that the barbarian warrior was undergoing. His flesh looked corpse-like and his breath had acquired a long drawn out rattle.

Finally, one of his artifacts piped up ‘Get rid of the underpants! - The underpants did it!’

Lazy looked down at the COIN-OPERATED CODPIECE OF WHANG.

The pleasurable sensations it produced (for only a small quantity of Gold) would be sorely missed, but perhaps it did indeed harbour a more malicious trait.

The sun was setting and Lazy feared that he would not see the dawn.

With a sigh he lumbered to his feet and was about to send the legendary truss tumbling into the abyss, when he halted; mid-kick.

The collective voices of the artifacts weighed on his mind. Perhaps given another day, they would root out the evil amongst them. Lazy wondered if he would see another day.

Night had fallen and sleep would not come quickly enough.

It is night. 24 hours for orders.

Lazy awoke and struggled to his feet. At first he thought some malevolent fog had descended, until he realised that the sky was in fact clear for the first time in days, but the fog that had descended was over his vision. The curse was worsening.

He fumbled for his sack ...of magical items, and drew each of them out of the bag in turn, as if somehow his sense of touch would allow him to identify which of the objects had been accursed.

The COIN-OPERATED CODPIECE OF WHANG felt as it always did - heavy and potent. His legendary helm: JHIMIHIL’S GRILLPIECE was as sturdy and reassuring as ever, and his boots, MHAXIGRYP’s SOUL CRUSHERS looked as shiny and respendant as they had always been. That was strange... where was his bow? Where was the bow of the ancients: The MAGNIFICENT GO-RHI-FROOMI?

All that remained in the bottom of the sack was a handful of splinters. Lazy let them fall through his fingers and hung his head in his hands.

Memnon has been killed

WIth a calm voice, but not without a tinge of hurt, Lazy spoke quietly:

‘Ok, which of you bastards did that?’

Day Four begins - will last 36 hours if needs be, but if everyone has had their say in 24 I shall get to adjudication

Play on

That's a weird kill choice.

Anyway, Johnny boy and Jarrema to choose from. Both are pretty scummy, though I must say I am initially leaning towards Jarema, though JHT is brazen which is often what he does as scum. More thoughts later.

Lazy, could we have 48 hours for voting please?
