We were thinking plain Medieval 2: Total War 1.5 patch. I'll take a look at this mod however. I took a look at it but it seems they did some pretty arbitrary changes. Halved the upkeep for all units? Why is that? Anyway, after checking out the videos from this thread I remembered how horrifyingly slow the movement was in vanilla.

Want to change it to SS 6.4 Late / No RR? Forced AR versus humans, you can lead vs. the AI. No spies to open settlements (but they can open forts), catapults for wood, trebs for stone?

Hi Myth.I asked Nightbringer that was there any problem that I don't have the orginal game M2TW and he said : no also you can play with us by the unoriginal game. But I doubt that I can. What about you? Do you agree with him or no?

If you can get Medieval 2 with the latest patch working you can play with us.

I gave this some thought. Vanilla M2TW has one distinct advantage - no one has to set up any mods. We can get some players form the other boards up in this!

Now I have bought total war kingdoms. But when I wanted to set it up , an error appeared : "total war kingdoms requires total war: Medieval 2 installed." However I have installed M2TW in my computer. What do you think why this happens like this?

Do you have M2TW installed in an unusual location?

Archive your saves and re-install M2TW, then put Kingdoms on it.

I did it but it wasn't useful and again I failed to instal the total war kingdoms. I think the problem is that maybe my base game hasn't been registered on my computer. So I think I have to buy another base game to solve my problem. But if you have any good suggestions please tell me.

Hold on. Where did you buy your first basic M2TW and what version of Kingdoms are you trying to install?

I bought it from a shop in my country(not downloading). And it must be unoriginal. it And I want to install almost all versions of that(crusades, Britain, Americas). But I want "Crusades" more than the others.

If by unoriginal you mean it is a used copy I don't think that should be problem for kingdoms, do you know myth?

No, if you install a clean M2TW it allows you to put Kingdoms on it, regardless. However the regonal versions may be different, so if he has a US copy of M2TW and is trying to put some other copy of Kingdoms that may well be the issue. That's why I told him to get it trough Steam as that won't give him any trouble.

You can play so long as you have it installed and patched and you can run the game.

The Kingdoms and Empires hotseat game is played with the vanilla version.

You can go to the game thread here and download any of the safegames and try it out.
As this is the first turn, none of those saves are password protected yet and you should be able to get into them.
