"Welcome once more. You have spend full month in the Academy, and today we start teaching. I hoped that this day, first Voidday of new academic year, would be a great celebration. But I have bad news for you. I have been poisoned by someone. I am dying... Please, dont be so affraid, your yells interfere withmy speech... thank you. I have not much time left. I must tell you something important. I am Master of the Void. Yes, it is not a legend, Kevomancers were among Academy mages from the very beginning of this institution. I am afraid that without our guidance Colleges will go into open fight. Please, don't do that. We must be strong and united. I hope there is another Master of the Void among you, but I am not sure. Kevomancers are secretive lot, and we do not reveal our identity even to each other.
Before I die, I have last gift for you. Please, take this Shield of True Purity and give it to one of you. It would greatly help any person not touched by corruption.
Now, as I told you last time I spoke to you, it is time you found defilers hiding among you. Do not exile them, just kill. It is war...
