Default Recommend me a controller for the ps3

The old one finally broke after I don't know how many years, a lot, went to the store to buy a new one but they are really expensive, so I bought a fake. It's horrible it feels completely wrong and there seems to be some input lag. Can anyone suggest me one that's closer to the real thing.

    We sell these at work:

They seem fairly good and I haven't ever heard complaints, though I've never used them before. The downside is that it is wired, but on the upside, the fans will cool your hands if you play for long periods of time. It also has the XBox layout, which is weird but that is how a lot of companies seem to make PS3 controllers these days (cutting costs I guess?). I don't know about the availability outside of Australia though.

Xbox controllers are superior in handling and many people prefer them. I was actually going to suggest to use one of those Xbox360 controllers to PS3 adapters but the one CA linked seems better.
