Fascinating and beautiful. Also very fortunate that these finds are now in the museum at Sofia, Bulgaria has not had much luck with grave robbers since the end of the 1980s.

beautiful damian. thanx for posting the link. It reminded me of Serianidi's quote though: "An unhappy archaeologist is one that discovers gold". Just think of how much has been robbed and perhaps lost in similar circumstances. At any rate these seem to have been saved...
