I still have it on my laptop and am actually downloading it at work.
Oh the nostalgia... I have Caesar 4 on my main PC but somehow that 3D didn't click for me, I don't know why. Especially the legionaries who look like plastic soldiers.

The art of war, then, is governed by five constant
factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations,
when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.
These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth;
(4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.

I still have the box of Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom up on a shelf of reverence. Great series it was. Have yet to try the new generation versions (Children of the Nile, Caesar IV)
Ja mata Tosa Inu-sama, Hore Tore, Adrian II, Sigurd, Fragony
Mouzafphaerre is known elsewhere as Urwendil/Urwendur/Kibilturg...

Ah, Caesar III was a fun game. I was terrible at it, mind: I could barely make it off very easy difficulty. Still, it was always fun to irritate Caesar until he sent some legions at you, then beat them off by your city entrance (or in the worst-case scenario, hope that your gladiators and lion tamers could kill them all within your city itself). And the voice-acting was classic.
