What is the provenance of the DNA?

From what I understand it all comes from hair samples collected at sites of suspected Bigfoot encounters.

I hear that there were dozens of samples and that the hair is very unique. Other than that everything I know is in the above link.

News of the study was leaked by someone in Russia.

As Bigfoot seems to be a human-hominin hybrid, does this mean that Yeti could be the daddy?
