I am so glad they released these! Boy, some of those make me very excited! I just cannot wait to see the Parthian Cataphracts!

This looks very nice indeed. Good job to unit designer Jack Lusted & his little helpers :)

damn tht looks epic!
We do not sow.
All of those I could actually cope with as there was some tenuous historical or mythological justification and accurate barbarian armies would have been incredibly boring (i.e. warband infantry, juvenile skirmishers with mixed missile weapons and cavalry and/or chariots) -what made the vanilla game unplayable for me was the Mummy Returns Egyptians - not least as they invariably became a superpower and eventually had to be fought even if you refused to play as them.
Dude, go and play Rome Total Realism, Europa Barbarorum or one of the other Rome period mods...
Plenty of interesting 'barbarian' stuff.
These armors etc are looking pretty sweet.
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...
The barbarians are a bit Goth/New Wave if you ask me. Surely a culture so vain when it comes to looks and with true fashion, that was so colourful, to have all it's armour so blackish and grey is a tad bizarre.
I don't think I follow you here. Barbarian armies aren't so boring once you see how varied they were. Far more varied than Rome TW would portray.
LOL That was indeed a stain upon the reputation of CA for me. Hopefully they have learned... we can only hope.

I think these models look pretty awesome, and im sure they will add some colour to the units with the capes and other ongoing clothes ( im not sure how barbarians could even dye leather in large quantities /if they did/). With solid foundation the game should be enjoyable, and if it modability will be good then when can get another classic TW game.
