It's been a while since we've had one of these threads. My office was just cleaned a few hours ago, so I figured it would be a good opportunity to take a photo before my desk became overflowing with crap once again. Here is a photo of my home desk setup:
My main PC hangs under the desk and you can't really see it in the pic because it's blocked by my chair. The laptop on the top right is for work and is on a dual-monitor KVM switch with the main PC. The black box with the blue circle on the right is my home server and also runs the Org Minecraft server. It plugs into the left monitor, but has it's own mouse/keyboard because KVM switches that can handle 3+ PCs with multiple monitor support are stupidly expensive.
So, show us where you post/game from!

I plead the right to silence, even the thought of the pending cleanup on my desk gives me a hernia. Also what do you do that you can afford such nice stuff?
I am a leech on the soul of society.

So...
uh...
On the right side of your desk there's a bottle of lubriderm and a mostly used up box of tissues.
There's also a pair of pliers.
I have allergies. My house gets dry in the winter.
The pliers are for work.
Sweet chair, my area is just my computer nothing else. It's not very interesting.

That chair looks really fancy. I am currently using an ordinary dining chair (and it's giving me a bad ache in the lower back) , since one of the wheels of my chair snapped last week.

Sure sure.
Just don't hurt yourself when your trying to "work" through your allergies and dry skin.

You all seem to be missing the point of this thread.
I just can't post my desk it's heavy and transportation fees are steep

The title says "Show me your desk."
I don't think there's been an unrelated post so far...
I mean, maybe you want everyone to focus on computers and monitors, but that's not the thread title is it? And really, just sitting around looking at techy hardware doesn't really tell you about someone's workspace. If you felt otherwise yourself, you probably wouldn't have stuck a glass of red wine in the middle of the photo there.
What makes a photo interesting often isn't what the photographer expects. Many times it's the quirky little glitch in the corner. Or, in this case, it's what the photographer, yourself, chose to leave in instead of what he put in. You yourself stated that you had just cleaned off your desk, and yet you chose to leave certain items on there. You made a still life portrait and showed it to us, and now seem upset that we're looking at it. If you only wanted us to look at your computer, you should have just snapped the computer.
Anyway, it's nothing to be ashamed of. "Allergies" are a natural thing a young man such as yourself simply has to come to terms with when they reach a certain age. Be careful with the pliers though.

Oh, I have no problems with that stuff. Indeed, I highly approve of the focus on the minor stuff, it certainly makes for a more entertaining discussion. However, none of you are posting your desks; that's the point that you are all missing. Stop being such cowards.
For the record, the wine glass was not placed intentionally. I was drinking it when it occurred to me that this might make a fun thread topic. You can't see it in the photo, but there's actually a large stain on the window curtain from another wine accident. I'm usually consuming wine or beer in the evenings at my desk.

I don't have a desk, per se. I just work in bed. All my posting, gaming and working at home is done in bed. But I do have a bookshelf.
I can't really explain what's going on there. I do have an explanation for using Beats headphones. I got them for free.
My room is dark since I never open the blinds. It also smells like a rotting corpse, stale weed, tobacco and alcohol.
So yeah. There you go.
That's one hell of a mess you got going there, your mom is going to be very angry with you if she sees that.

You game on a laptop?
Bookshelves are allowed to be loaded up with crap, that's what they're for.

Right now, I'm gaming on my laptop. My desktop has gone through an ordeal. It has been laid to rest.
RIP Spanky's Desktop

Oh you said DESK, my bad...
How could an innocent thread like this get so close to almost beeing "not save for work"....
Still, a very entertaining read.
As for my own desk, well the layers of paper on it are currently thicker than the wood it is made of. Until that is cleared up, I wont be in any position to show you a picture.
