Steam ID not updating

I have tried to add my Steam ID to my profile info for a while, the first time it didn't work (which was a few months ago), I forgot about it, but now, when I tried again, it still doesn't let me add it, it simply thanks me for updating my profile but my Steam ID doesn't get saved.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, this subforum may not have been the best place to post this. Please move as necessary.
