Steam ID not updating

I have tried to add my Steam ID to my profile info for a while, the first time it didn't work (which was a few months ago), I forgot about it, but now, when I tried again, it still doesn't let me add it, it simply thanks me for updating my profile but my Steam ID doesn't get saved.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, this subforum may not have been the best place to post this. Please move as necessary.

Well, it seems to be working as the Steam icon under your avatar shows up and the link to your page works. Whatever you did recently fixed it.

I didn't update it myself though, so I'm not sure if it will work or not.

Well, as I said, it's working right now. Regardless of how it got that way, the end result appears to have been achieved.
