Default Illyori hoplitai: did the illyrians use hoplites?

hi i was wondering if the tribes of illyria had adopted hoplite warfare. (due to being so close to hellas) if so did they use them in a simillar fashion to there greek counterparts or was anything changed about them.

Sorta, they had less panoplia and preferred shock tactics...

But a greek writer would still describe them as thureophoroi or hoplitai...

or another author could describe them as more akin to peltastai then thuroporoi altough i´m sure that region had hoplites considering the greek colonies in the adriatic
