A Norwegian man is accused of assaulting his rival with a sandwich.

The Norwegian newspaper Viking Tribune says a 35 year old man is charged with disturbing the peace. According to the arrest affidavit, the notorious skirt chaser H.T. called the authorities late Sunday because he was assaulted by a man who pushed him down and rubbed a sandwich in his face, supposedly because H.T. had been kissing his girlfriend.

"Normally I wouldn't report this, but there was so much garlic on those sandwiches that my sex life will be ruined for several weeks! Nobody will ever want to kiss me!"

Mister A. Admin, an eye-witness, commented on the story, his mouth filled with a left-over of the sandwich: "Mmph. Hmph. Grmph!"

The newspaper says court documents don't detail the ingredients, but a deputy found several pieces of lunchmeat on the carpet outside a bedroom and some pieces of bread in the bedroom.

The attacker remained in jail on Friday.
