I like the way this show is organized. It's a quick way to teach new historic info.
I watched the Adolf episode. I already knew that he was a painter. It turns out that there are mind-blowing things about him. I didn't know that he had Jewish friends when he was a student. I didn't know that he received the Iron Cross First Class during WWI, and that a Jewish officer was the one who recommended it. I didn't know that he was homeless after WWI, and that a Jewish guy felt pity on him and helped him survive the cold. No one thought that he'd become an evil person. History is more twisted than any fiction novel.
The other episodes are pretty good. I watched the Caligula and Lincoln episodes too. I'm looking forward to the Shakespeare one.
