In case you were keen on Victoria 2 as well as its expansion A House Divided, here is your chance to get the keys for both. Don't be shy, give it a shot.

Amazing how little interest there is in this game... This was thought as a prize game for those that might be interested in Heart of Darkness but didn't have Vic2 and House Divided expansion, but once again, I can't believe how little interest there is to take a free game.
Hah, I already own it, so entering the competition would be taking it from some one who most likely doesn't have it.
Main problem with Victoria 2 is that it is heavy in industrial development factor. Many people I know who have gotten into EU3 or CK2 end up saying comments like "There is nothing to do!" "its boring". Though admittedly, that isn't as bad as HoI3's "what am I meant to do?!" "I just sit there with AI on" "I have 1232939253209 units which need to be singularly controlled?!"

I would enter but I have so much on my plate I have almost no time for gaming, especially not the time required to learn a game like V2.

It is something I have some interest in but admittedly I have always found the games very hard to get into, there is an incredibly high learning curve though I think I might love it once I got into it...

I already have it or I'd have jumped at the chance, Voitkampf. I think most people interested in Paradox games already have Vicky 2 (and thus AHD), and that goes double for people who browse game forums and like Paradox games.
I'm still terrible at the economic side of things, which is why I prefer CK2 and EU3.

I am interested but the learning curve for Vicky 2 just feels too daunting, when I haven't even mastered ck2 or eu3. If it is eu4, I would jump at it too. You are so nice with these giveaway though, I will follow you anyway.

Heart of Darkness has now been released. Admittedly, going to wait for it to go on sale.
From reading on Pdox forum, there's still some issues to iron out, most notably insane dominion release. Within the first month, Portugal releases Mozambique, than colonizes the rest of it and release it as Confederacy of Mozambique, then colonize another state in that are and release it as Mozambique Confederacy. Also, it releases Goa which becomes India, so we have India from the start as one province minor looking at the British possessions, which also means you can't create India with Punjab for example since it already exists as an OPM.
Bought it, installed it, then realized I had to go to uni in the morning, stupid human need for long sleep.

Nah, blushes are not on my part - I am kind of said that people are not that interested in Paradox games. But on the other hand, as Alexander the Pretty Good said, people interested in it most probably already have it.
