Pushing a woman to the ground is good behaviour? I would never do such a thing, if people are rude I take my loss, just don't get overly rude with me to the point of it being hostile. I can also do that. Social quid pro quo

behave and mistake are not synonyms

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

EDIT: wait, were you even replying to me? or to that kadagar guy? didn't read his stuff till now.

because if you replied to me, I didn't say that, and if you replied to Kadagar (assuming he was serious), I would agree with you.

I also think it was somewhat OTT, but hilarious, and probably well explains the line of thinking here.

We just expect people to behave, and set them straight if they dont.
Yeah I didn't think the example was really that bad which is why I changed it up to the drink example, I assume the majority of you would take a genuine spilling of a drink on you (within reason) without having to also cover the other person in drink (different for friends I would say, but let it go from a stranger.

Considering the damage to the googles a push into soft snow is probably not even enough!

If I was waiting behind that chick, I would have gone to the manager and vouched for you Hooahguy. I never got angry working at McDonalds though. I just laughed at the customers when they get all huffy and puffy and I told them what they wanted to hear. Life is too short to care about those sorts of things.

But seriously, people who don't know what they want should not even be in line to order. **** those people.

Sometimes they have the menu's right at the front so you cannot actually order straight away. You would obviously see them cooking something like a burger, but they might have like eight different ones.

Well all of the menu options are listed on a screen right in front of the station.

As Marcus Aurelias said, when you awake tell yourself today I shall encounter the rude, ignorant and sellfish. Be not angry with them but understand they are so because they do not realise the error of their ways.

I have lost count of the number of times I have repeated this to myself when stood behind my supermarket checkout.

Anyone who thinks he over-reacted obvious behaves just like the lady did.

Stand in line at store....complain line moves to slow....get to front of line and don't know what you want, doesn't have check filled, doesn't have money ready. I see this every where I go.

Why, just a few weeks back I got to stand in line at a Subway with my sister, while she complained loudly to everyone who would look at her how the place was understaffed and the line was moving too slow, until I finally asked her to kindly shut up. I picked subway because I dare not expose a wait staff to her dramatics, as I like my food without saliva. Then, after I ordered, I said "okay what do you want?" and she said "Oh...well....give me a minute." Profanity that bordered of poetic followed.

    You know what, Hooahguy?

I bet she decides what she wants before she gets to the front of the line next time. I approve of what you did, and request that you improve upon it next time by also saying something like "This is why you will grow old alone!!"

There are times when I prayed that people took that to heart when dealing with me on my off days.
Being better than the worst does not inherently make you good. But being better than the rest lets you brag.

As Marcus Aurelias (also) said, if you provide a beneficial service for a person the fact you have provided this service is a reward in itself, it is inconsequential if the recipient appreciates the fact the service has been of benefit to them.
