Someone please tell me I'm not the only person to look at a game, think it's a good deal, only to realise I'd already bought it in a previous sale after wondering why it won't let me select 'Purchase for myself'... Done it twice so far already..

Tomb Raider Collection (9 Games!) is on sale for $18.

That seems like an incredible deal to me. The new Tomb Raider without the collection is $12.

EDIT: Also, I've got an extra Football Manager card (from the Steam Summer Getaway set) if anyone wants to trade for it.

Every game I've bought or has gotten gifted to me has gone into a special category i made in my library called "Backlog." I am gonna start working through them before i return to my favorites.

I saw that "You Need A Budget" is on sale and it looks like a nice software.

But I do think that my budget is better off if I don't buy it.

I thought you were joking until i saw "You Need A Budget" is actual software, and as pricey as a AAA game.

Actually, I've owned it since January and think it's a great piece of software.
(not sure why you'd want to buy it on Steam though)

It does seem a rather odd fit.

I thought Valve was looking to leverage Steam into a more general software distribution platform.

I got this impression because Valve sent out a press release in 2012 where they said so.

I find it strange how there were only 2 options for the community choice poll, and Im still waiting for the latest XCOM game to be on sale.

EDIT: I missed the flash sale for it, damn.

So far I bought L.A. Noire, the DLC for Deus Ex Human Revolution (already had the base game) and Universe Sandbox for $12.

Of course not. Also it's for PC. I'm sure.
(but maybe they convert it to PC version but I'm sure PC version for that exists.) Click image for larger version.

not sure where those images came from but the entire God of War series was limited to Sony games consoles (either the PSP or PS2/3)

it never made it to PC

I also have seen some websites that they put download links for PC version of this game. And I saw that in video game stores. So what are those? I don't understand!

What websites, I might ask? And since you are from the Middle East, and having spent my fair share of time in the Middle East, are you sure that the stores you visited werent just wrapping a CD case in the God of War cover and calling it God of War to sucker you into a purchase? I mean, I found a "PC version" of Halo 3 in the Muslim quarter market in Jerusalem.

I don't know, maybe. I will explore more in the stores to be sure. And I should say that I know a popular persian website (that send video games physically and directly to homes) sells the PC version of this game : http://www.p30gamers.com/index.php?r...roduct_id=1373
But thanks for making me aware of that .

Can someone tell me what I do with these trading cards? I got a card for Neptune since I have been fooling around in Universe Sandbox a lot.

I know a guy from iran, most of the folks there play PC games, cause they don't sell PS3/Xboxs, and i doubt they can hack this onto the PC, alot of the iranian stores also mislabel the covers so you might have a totally different game in your disk.

My recommendation is try and go to Chahbahar, they have a freezone there with shops that sell these, but i don't know how feasible that is for you, since its quite a distance from Tehran. The other best bet is Dubai which is like a 3 hour flight, and its sold in every pop and mom store but not the bigger chains like Virgin or whatever, avoid those.
