So let's say the survivors have slain 40 zombies with minimal losses, formed an El Gigante hunting party and somehow slain he who exists primarily to prevent you from doing such a thing in the first place, and have made excellent progress getting yourselves "saved" and finding a way out.

At that point, you can consider the game on Professional mode. I'm not going to let people just walk out the front door at that point. Might want to run in the opposite direction of the exit, in fact.

So, what happens if all zombies are killed, all players survive, and a Hero unites the various factions under his iron-fisted but benevolent rule to erect a new civilization upon the ruins of the city and everyone lives harmoniously-ever-after in a self-sufficient compound? Meteor strike?

The old game had that townies got converted by the omega virus. The zombie horde bringing down say the 10 best people, combat wise, in the late game, so they're geared up would be needed to be huge though. As in 100+ huge. A massive first strike+relativly low stats on the zombies makes large groups really loopsided. But betrayal from within and a few other mechanisms are in place to prevent that I suspect.

My beard growth rate is still rising exponentially. I shaved off my sides after 3 months of progress several weeks ago, and they're already nearly back to what they were before.

Because it's not a normal mafia game, in fact, it's not a mafia game at all, and you have to have players in whom you can trust, becuase this requires a certain level of prolonged commitment that isn't for your average gamer who tends to prefer a quick in-and-out.

1) Sickness finally leaving my body after 35 days of being ill.

2) 5 days off out of the next 8 days

3) 50 VIP players in my game, and several reservists, guaranteeing what happened last time will only be even better this time



That Wednesday the 13th deadline is looking more and more rosy to me. We should definitely kick this off by then.

Now, I'm willing to squeeze in a couple additional players. 2 more people will add approximately 10 minutes to all of my hosting duty cycles, and since I'm already in way too deep to go back to sane world, another couple of players won't matter at all.
