There once was a man who grew such a beard, that he ruled an entire pirate ship without a mutiny.
There were those who called him Zackbeard.
I am not sure which came first, the Zack, or the beard.
I am not sure which one got credit for destroying everything nasty on that ship, including a certain pizzafellow.
I am not sure where one begins and the other ends. My guess is somewhere around the chin region.
I am not sure which one is more legendary.
But there was a Zack, and there was a beard. And together, they were unstoppable.

That is so Problem Sleuth-like! I wanna be on your team!
And you have to live long enough for the Zombies to starve to death. Where are your food supplies?
Try drinking it warm like in Lahndan.
That means you're closest to the Zombies, dude.

So, what happens if all zombies are killed, all players survive, and a Hero unites the various factions under his iron-fisted but benevolent rule to erect a new civilization upon the ruins of the city and everyone lives harmoniously-ever-after in a self-sufficient compound? No, Pizza will declare us all the winners and reveal that the last couple months' worth of roleplaying have been a hallucination induced by a spore produced by the Zombies who've used the time to recover and have us pinned inside a room with no walls.

Hey, I have survival skills! Just a couple days ago I foraged a pound of so of chanterelles. (True story. Not joking.)
The old game had that townies got converted by the omega virus. The zombie horde bringing down say the 10 best people, combat wise, in the late game, so they're geared up would be needed to be huge though. As in 100+ huge. A massive first strike+relativly low stats on the zombies makes large groups really loopsided. But betrayal from within and a few other mechanisms are in place to prevent that I suspect.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?
