I am still around. It is always a delight to see you show up, doubly so when you bring some art to the Org. Have you managed to get a web site up to showcase your work? I'd love take a look at what you've been up to.
I've been a bit distracted for most of this year so haven't been following Rome2 very closely. Things should slow down in the coming weeks and I can start giving Rome2 the attention it deserves.

...good to see ya, been posting at dimeolas7.deviantart.com. Pulling together art and stories and creating a fantasy setting to put them in, even have a friend who is going to try and help write, should be fun. Will be on vacation the 5th and heading to Dallas the 7th so going to hope my old laptop can run it while am away lol.

Your use of light is outstanding as always. Your scenes are of places at which I'd love to be.

...me too...a few years back I had a dream. I was hurrying to work and at the edge of the parking lot was a bridge over a stream, on the other side were these magnificent trees blowing in the breeze. It was so peacefull I wanted to go there, felt pulled to cross that bridge but felt I wasnt ready to go yet...so I went inside to work. The terrific feeling of peace I got from that place across the bridge from that dream makes me think that it was heaven. I remember that dream like it was yesterday and I wish I had crossed that bridge. Life is hectic and painfull and I guess I seek peace. Will post a few more things as time allows.

Been to:
Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

The last one is superb. I love the little island just jutting out of the sea.

Very good work!
The art of war, then, is governed by five constant
factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations,
when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.
These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth;
(4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.

I like how you went for realistic clothing for her. Those biniki-armour outfits are rather tedious.
