In Rome 2 we will be given a chance to name our legions. I am wondering if it will be open ended with players being name them whatever they want or will we be forced to mix and match from a list of pre-loaded names?

Imagine they'd be created with a generic number and name that you can change if you like.

There is a video where someone goes to name an army and it just comes up with a text field where you could probably enter whatever.

That's a neat future. Combined with the limited number of armies and the experience gain and army leveling a specific name should add greatly to the immersion. I guess I have to come up with some proper names for other facions then Rome.
Greyviper, Wolvespath, Grimash, Framaher were made up quickly for the Suebi.

Eventho a prettymuch useless Gimmick this certainly is a selling Point for me :)
When I finaly get rome2 I will probably alternate between Historically accurate names and horribly silly names "Brians Baby Crushers" "Masters of Bacon","Pi Legion"
