    Default Askthepizzaguy Mafia III [Concluded]

    Askthepizzaguy Mafia III

    Game rules:

You all receive the same standard townie role PM, unless you're a gangster. Therefore, quoting your role PM is pointless.

Screenshots are not allowed and also pointless.

Each Day cycle, you will discuss and vote, if you wish, by placing a wager, like so:

    Wager: 10 chips on Askthepizzaguy

If you wish to remove your wager, you must FOLD, so please do so like this:

    Fold: Askthepizzaguy

Only then may you place another wager. Otherwise, your new wager is illegal and won't be counted.

You may wager on only one lynch candidate at a time. The candidate with the most total chips wagered on them will be lynched.

In the event of a tie, I will personally ensure that a townie dies. You cannot lynch mobsters with tied votes, period.

Even if you happened to lynch two mobsters with a tied vote, I'd shoot a townie instead and both gangsters will live.

(So if you know what's good for you, DO NOT CREATE TIED VOTES. Note: This part isn't a rule, just sound advice.)

You will lose your wager if the candidate is not lynched.

You will lose your wager if the candidate is lynched and was a townie.

You will have your wager returned to you in full, if the lynchee was a mobster and you wagered on them to die.

Each round, there is a betting limit. Betting above that limit will not count.

It is legal to bluff when you are wagering, by placing wagers above the amount of chips that you have remaining. However, it should be noted that such wagers are completely null and void.

What that means is that, if you wager more than your total number of chips remaining, that wager is completely meaningless and has no actual effect whatsoever, not on the tally, and not on your personal finances at the end of the round. You have been warned.

You all begin with 100 chips and there is no way to gain more chips than the ones you begin with.

In the event any player has zero chips remaining at the end of a round, and have no chips returned to them, they die.

In the event that the remaining mobsters have more total chips than the remainder of the town side, they win. Doesn't matter how many of you are left. They can out-bet you every round and therefore, they can outvote you and prevent all lynches. That's GAME OVER.

If you fail to post during the game for two straight voting Days, you'll be replaced by Visorslash.

Day One begins now, and ends after everyone who signed up has posted at least once.
That makes the first round rather open-ended.

Enjoy your complimentary slice of pizza.

    Vote: Visorslash 10 credits

It is against your interests to bet so low, if you are town.

I haven't really thought about vote weighting strategy for this game, but hopefully I'll work things out as I go along. In the interim I think I'll hoard my chips.

    Wager: 1 chip on Ferret

It occurs to me, though, that creating ties might actually be a really good idea, since it can give you information on the alignment of more than one person at once. For example, if a player were to survive a couple of tied votes he'd be rather suspicious. If you tie him in a third lynch and he still survived you could flat-out lynch him with a fair degree of confidence, whilst if a random third party died you know you've caught two scum. It would probably be a bit tricky logistically though, and later on bluff votes could throw a spanner in the works. Still, something to consider.
