The army names for the Germanic culture can get pretty silly. Ill try to post some of them later, when I remember them. In posting from this forum app (tapatalk or something) so if my reply comes out wonky, you know who to blame.

My first army in the Iceni campaing was named "The Genistawarriors". The Genista is a nice looking, yellow-flowering plant - doesn't sound so threatening

That's Woad Warriors in English and a lot of these armies call themselves Woad Warriors. It's a little like the Romans with their Legio 1-500 or whatever. ^^

So I actually havent really seen any bad army names persay, but it does tickle me that armies of the same culture will use the same list of names. For example I would often see other Germanic nations have the same army names like I had, such as I would see numerous armies called "the dread berserkers" or "the champions of Frigabis."

Im really just waiting for the Iceni to bring out an army called "the woad warriors," to which I will respond by playing the Mad Max 2 theme song.

some carthaginian names are interesting. friends of the hundred of four(or some number) and guardians of the new city. all my legions are named after me, so it really stings when they lose. i am a little surprised with this new feature that you cant also recruit and name your general. they wouldnt live very long though...

Ok, I just ran across a fleet from Nova Carthago called "The Will of Yam". WTF?
