    According to Rome 2 flaming javelins are standard issued. The Iberian one wasn't really flaming and the other ones were just heavily heated heavy missiles to ingnite siege weapons, towers, etc not battlefield usage.

    I wish the snowflakes wouldn't fall on the screen. I hate that if you have weather it has to land on your screen. It's a video game trope now.

    Man the difference between 1920x1080 and 1680x1050 is astronomical. Im playing extreme settings and it doesn't look nearly this good.

    Took some screenshots during a friend's battle in a MP campaign. There is something about these scenes with the giant pikes from phalanxes sticking out of formations that makes them look awesome ^^

    During a somewhat messy conflict over Alexandria, the skirmisher-happy AI was at the recieving end of oil-gates. I thought I had the clear morale-advantage, but to my horror I saw these guys standing in the gate, on the pile of bodies, and just not care at all.

    It was horrifying. I later lost the battle to a chainrout. For once I do not blame my levies at all.

    The sun shines through the rain and fog and a beam of light falls on a proud Celtic warrior's face as his band of warriors wait in a glen for the enemy to appear.

    The art of war, then, is governed by five constant
    factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations,
    when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.

    These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth;
    (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.
