    Lightbulb Sergeant-at-Arms c. 1300

    Ian Heath based his Sergeant-at-Arms on a manuscript of c. 1300 at the time of Louis IX.


    Could his source be 'Jonathan killing Philistines and eating honey' in The Queen Mary Psalter where there are 3 figures on the right, one of whom has a mace, or some other source?
