Thread: Sources for Medieval Flemish Infantry

Lightbulb Sources for Medieval Flemish Infantry

Two primary sources seem to be the main ones used for Medieval Flemish Infantry:
    The Courtrai chest and
Leugemeete frescos: De Liebaart - The Pike, De Liebaart - The Town Militias & De Liebaart - The Crossbow.

These were used by Ian Heath for his Brabançon or Flemish Spearman, 12th-13th Centuries & Staff Weapons etc.

Are there any better pictures of either of these?

Searching for the 'goedendag' will get you further, the Flemish are best known for the use of this weapon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goedendag
