Mercenery's; but no titles

Why cant you be able to grant titles to them?

I know that there for hire and all but i was just curious why u cant give em titles.

because they're mercenaries. Yes, I sometimes have wished I coul;d grant titles to my mercs, some of the mhave great stats But alas, the nature of being a hired gun is that you can never hold office but are doomed to die by the sword, as it were.

They're more likely to Rebel (almost all of them, some might be loyal) so it'd probably not be a good idea. I only keep mercs when I absolutely need them, cause they're costs are pretty much double to maintain.
