I'm not sure that's the best metric to judge gay acceptance by. I mean, I think homosexuality is gross (at least the male kind; as for the other ...), and I'm fully in favor of equality and acceptance of gays. Or maybe I'm just a closet homophobe living in denial?

He did put it into far more biblical language than that. Words I can't be bothered to remember, thus leading to my simple summary of "gross". It wasn't quite the Allahu-Akbar-chopofftheirheads-stuff, though.

I don't understand that either really. If I would have to make a wild guess it would be that being so intolerant towards gays is a form of homosensuality.
