OK - here we go :)
(8d6)[6][5][1][1][1][1][5][5](25)
4 ones! urg!
So I'll gather all the mice a safe distance away (I should imagine I won't have trouble with that part). Then I'll roll to see if the mice both can think of anything they have that might be useful to us as well as whether they're willing to give it to us, thus neatly sidestepping the issue of actually naming such resources.
I'm guessing that I get some bonus dice for my orator and persuader skills? Hopefully my traits come out at least neutral.
4,5 and 6 are successes. So you have 4 successes. I'll roll this evening for the turtle (I'm at work ATM) and see what the result is.
You all have 1 fate point (=reserv of luck). You can use that to reroll a die if you have rolled a 6. So should it be necesarry ...
You can do either as long as you can explain how you do it. (You can roll the die)
This will be a simple test. You need to reach 3 successes.
Resources seems like the correct abilty to test. I can both see orator or persuarder work but you can only use 1.
You don't have to use traits as a negative thing but then you'll have more to do in the player turn.

Let's roll:
(9d6)[5][1][5][3][4][2][5][3][1](29)
So I got 4 successes which means we have a tie.
Edse can help and perhaps break the tie and/or LazyMcCrow can reroll 1 die using a fate point OR the confrontation can be indecisive.

In case I'm supposed to roll now I do so [roll0].
Do I need to specify what skill/trait I use?
Oh my god, I was involved in a tabletop Mouse Guard campaign about two years ago and it was some of the most fun I've ever had in an RP. Are there any more available slots?

@ Ishmael
You must chose between resources and persuader. So you can roll 5D6 or 3D6 and earn 1 check.
Hi @GeneralHankerchief
Not at the moment but if you like you can play a NPC for a while.

(I don't want to edit my post above in case it changes the results)
So, that's 2 successes of 3 needed. I can either use a fate point to reroll one die or Sloan can chip in to help, right?
Hmm...as much as I'm curious to see what the twist is, I'd rather start off with a success.
@Darth Feather - would you be able to help out here?

So let's see. With a giant snapping turtle at my tail, I'm keen to see how the cookie crumbles.
Sorry to keep you waiting.
I had some storm damage to my house this weekend and a busy few days at work. I'll post this evening or tomorrow evening.

The turtle is distracted enough for Thom and Nathaniel to sneak into the brewery. Harold begrudgenably gave them the location of a barrel of some premium whiskey.
Unbeknownst to them, Flower, Honeywind's daughter has followed them to help. She, however, isn't able to pass the turtle unnoticed and shrieks out as the snapping turtle corners her. Thom and Nathaniel pass a huge silo of barley as they run outside to help.

I'm the same as Lazy. Sorry!
Thom, seeing no good course of action in this situation, drowns his sorrows with the premium whiskey.
Seriously though, I can't think of anything we can do. It seems our weapons aren't going to do much good, which suggests that poisoning it is our best option. However, anything from the brewery that we feed to it is likely to get it drunk, which...probably won't help matters.
Theres obviously something we can do with the barley. Surely the beast just wishes to gorge on that. Don't know what the mice will eat this winter though :/
