And if juries feel the law is unjust, they're free to ignore any compulsion to convict. It takes just 3 dissenters, and there is no conviction.They're criminals - they broke the law, and Parliament makes the law.
That hardly feels like "dictatorship" unless you already believe that the UK is a legally corrupt state - i.e. that the people in prison should not be there because the law is unjust.
