I am told by people I am ok. I also know Maggy is very good and there are other players like yousoff, but who else is good at 1000 cos i would like to play more people at 1000 koku because they are scared of it and dont know what they are missing. I have had a battle last 26 seconds because of it!

I've played almost everyone who will play me at low koku and judging on the whole I would probably say AMP is the best.

    Other very good 1k'ers:

    Magy.
    Lord Ted.
    Masked Terror.

    Honourable mentions:

    hjblades.
    ShadeLord.
    Polar.

I don't care what anyone says about 1k, I think it rules + people who bad-mouth it are generally people who never bothered to really take the time to understand what it's all about.

As far as my (somewhat limited) experience goes: a 1000 koku game on a hilly map where no one camps is the best an STW multiplayer game can get.

Are you guys millionaires? Who has that kind of money. I can get by with a cool 500 koku. One thousand is pure luxury.

I am a low koku samurai also. I am ok in 1000 koku but in my opinion Kurando is the best samurai at 1000 koku. But in 2000 koku, I am quite confident in myself. I have only lost 2 times when defending with 2000 koku at Totomi. I have also defeated AMP at 2000 koku competitive battle. However, I lost against him in friendly battles later on

If you're just going to camp on a hill, you probably would never lose on any map at low koku, but then you'd quickly get a bad reputation and no one would play you twice. Conversely though, the fact that you can't just be a goon and out-muscle your opponent with a rush is exactly what I like about low koku.

As far as Totomi goes: unless I get caught in a really bad situation, (guns in the rain or something), I start on the plain and finish on the plain; otherwise it's just not cricket.

-A valid argument that I've heard against low koku was something that Jaydee once said: "a raw newbie is likely to give you a tougher fight at high kuko than at low kuko" + that is very much true.

Well, I have defeated many people when I attack also! However, I also lose a lot more when I attack That's why I had 14 losses. But the hills on Totomi are very small, so they don't help that much, do they? I think that Totomi is the most fair map in the game. The attacker has chance of winning on this map more than any other map, I think. That's why for competitive game I only play at the Totomi. I don't play other maps, that are hilly because it's unfair for my opponent.

And by the way, if I attack at Totomi, and the defender is on any hill, I know how to take them of the hill he he he....I have a plan for that situation

Totomi does give an advantage.. The small hill on the left , viewing from attackers side , it's a killer equal honor routs same unit in seconds , especialy if there's a gun up there.

Satake is right, low honour units are very vulnerable to height advantage. To be fair, low koku games should be played on Green.

You guys are thinking completely backward + that type of mentality is main reason why only about 4 or 5 of STW's 183 availible maps are ever seen at EA-play.

I am no doubt aware of the advantage of that "small hill on the left" which Satake decribed + from the defenders perspective I have played approximately two hundred 1000 koku games on Totomi, and of those games the number of times I have ever deployed upon (or moved onto) that hill is exactly equal to zero.

Fair play is 100% the responsibility of the players, not the map makers.

    ..

P.S. I know both of you guys are fair players + I am addressing what you have said in concept only.

    CaPeFeAr;

That being the case, the only reason you didn't make my list is because we've never played eachother, (no disrespect meant by leaving you out).

But sure m8, I'm game; I'd rather not put things in terms of challenges and whatnot though; we do see eachother online now-and-then, so next time let's make a point of having a few matches. (I'm not playing at the level of heavyweights like AMP and Lord Ted, but I'll definitely give you a good fight at low koku).
