Thread: Campaign Lenth

    I was on the verge of a breakthrough on the previous board but the switch derailed it all. So let me get this straight: All I have to do is find the Medieval executeable, open properties and add, without quotes, "-SetGameEndDate::" and type the year I want the campaign to end?

    This seems like it would be a relatively important issue. Can anyone offer any advice?

    If you put a line such as

    SetGameEndDate:: 2000

    into one of the startpos files, you can play using that startpos file up to the specified year, e.g. 2000.

    This is in the patch only.

    So do we stick that line anywhere in the startpos file?
    And will this effect campaigns already in progress, or do I have to start a new one? And finally, events wont be a problem I assume?

    Yes, put it in a startpos file. It'll only affect new campaign.

    Though Eat Cold Steel wasn't quite specific I would gather that the line: SetGameEndDate:: 2000 can be placed anywhere
    within the startpos file. I personally would put it under the start game dates
