Breakup of the Seleucid Empire

Hi all!

I was wondering, in the old EB (0.72, 0.8) there used to be a series of alerts and images detailing the breakup of the Seleucid Empire. While it's a bit late to think about implementing new (or rather re-used) concepts at this point in time, I was wondering if any similar process had made its way back towards EB II.

What are you referring to? I only remember warnings of getting into war with Pontos when moving an army near Nikaia, if I remember correctly. But then, I mostly played Koinon Hellenon, Macedonia and the Ptolemaioi with version 0.72 and 0.8 - that was before I was se(d)leuced, haha.

i remember such featured in regards to the sadleucids but in the same position as lysandros

altough i would love to know more about it

Hey!

When I was still a member of the EB team (left due to inactivity) I looked through the old 0.72 files. I can try to look them up again so that you can know what I'm talking about. When you go to the EB site and click on features, you will actually see the thing that I'm talking about mentioned.

I haven't played EB in 3 years, but I remember notifications about Pahlava and Baktria declaring independence and turning on their Seleucid masters on 1.2.

Let me say this: under right circumstances, through his own action made on assumption that everything is perfectly fine, and with a bit of (bad) luck the Seleukid player might experience a situation when a snowball becomes an avalanche...

P.S. - And yes, an event will pop-up to tell him that he is in trouble and the avalanche is just about to smash his carefully assembled card-house.

We still lack a nice pictorial illustration for this event though...
