Has anyone else noticed how much STW stuff is present in the MTW directories?

I also like to see the changes in the code, Like when the Grand Inquisitor was called the Grand Executioner.

Anyone else noticed the agent models for Robin Hood and Joan d'Arc??

Anyone got any comments on why all this stuff is in there??

For the most part having Shogun data around was harmless; most data is loaded deliberately and on demand, so anything which isn't referenced is only taking up space.

Medieval started out as a copy of Shogun, and the data and code mutated slowly towards what we wanted to ship, so if there are bits left it's probably not surprising.

There are also some bits left in there which represent parts of the Medieval design which were later dropped or rejigged... a dozen or so specific trade buildings, for example.

A little detritus from the original game is acceptable......at least it's not like other games I could mention where a major portion of the compiled code were url's of various porn sites one of the developers had been surfing (ok, B17-II from Microprose).
