Can't wait for some more player company!

Saw the announcement of the Org trying to get more players to come back and have another play through in MTW2, love it!

Because I never played it the first time, so I've got a ton of questions I'm running up against as I play two different campaigns as England (one using Retro Mod and the other with Stainless Steel 6.4).

I'm having a fantastic time btw...

Ok, I'm just going to keep posting questions in any and all of the threads I've got going here in the hopes someone will soon drop by and respond.

Here's the latest problem, well, let's just say I assume it's a problem, I'm certainly interpreting it that way, and I'm looking for guidance on what to expect down the road due to this:

Btw, this was the best looking map I've been able to find, and while it's nice enough looking, what I'm really after I guess is a map that is searchable. And if possible a decent reference for what buildings you have to get in order to get units (I've found a web based one, just wondering if anybody has anything else they've seen they like).

Easytarget, may I suggest you try a campaign without the mods as we do this? That way, it will be easier to answer your questions.

Then, once you learnt the initial game (a loooong process), you can go ahed and install the mods again :)

I found that vanilla M2TW has a LOAD to offerm specially when you start to role play your characters. I have so many great campaigns, and great happenings, that you have no idea!!

A situation where I had my general and 2 of his retinue remaining, 11 pikemen, 3 handgunners and 14 swordmen - facing off at least half a stack - comes to mind ;)

This really (I believe) was the best TW game to RP the characters, give it a shot.

The campaign I'm active with right now is just running retro, I don't believe that changes much, it just takes vanilla and makes it like the changes they came out with Kingdoms are a part of it, which gotta say, doesn't look terribly different to me.

And I agree, there's a ton to explore in just the base game, I've still got a lot to learn! Hence all my threads with questions!
