Online help needed, hopefully this is the right place
So I'm able to play my copy of total war no problem. However my friend had failed to save his login information and now that Gamespy has hit the hole. I have been trying to get his to copy to work. I have tried IGN stopgap to fix this but to no avail with two different login information it did not work. Is there anyway to play this game still online?
Is the some client side program that everyone uses now to game together.
How does one use LAN?

Hi Fryd, and welcome. Have you tried making Hamachi work? It will allow you to setup a pseudo LAN connection through the internet.
