A King of Rivers and Hills Submod



Hi all I have decided to open up new reserved King of Rivers and Hills Hotseat Containing, hand selected players from the Incredible Westeros Community. Each player will have the opportunity to take one of the playable factions to dominate the World of Westeros. Players will be randomly given a faction not of the their choice and by eliminating Bolton and Yroonwood hoping to move the Hotseat along a lot quicker!

***Lore***

This mod will be set in the time of the petty Andal and First-men kings of Westeros. Over 1000 years before Aegon the Conqueror's Landing.
You'll have:
- The last First-men King of the Riverlands fighting a desperate battle versus the surrounding Andal Kingdoms. The King of River and Hills is desperately fighting to keep his faith, his customs and his people alive.
- The Boltons and Starks fighting over dominion of the North.
- Yronwood, Dayne and Martell battling over Dorne.
- House Hoare leading a Golden age of the Ironborn, the ironmen could rightfully claim that "wherever men can smell salt water or hear the crash of waves," his writ ran

***Rules***

• Pm the next player that it is their turn. You have 24 hours to play each turn before skip/sub
• 1 turn peace ( you may cross another players region, but must not end turn there or fight obviously. )
• Destroying buildings is not allowed if the settlement is under siege or a far superior army is one turn away from the settlement. ( turn 1 excepted )
• 2 forts a region/player and forts need to have a garrison of at least 4 units, to limit fort spamming a bit.
• No assassinations
• No bug abuse! When you think someone has used a bug report it here and the admin will look into it. Linkto known bugs, 2nd paragraph
• No sailing from a blockaded port without first defeating the blockading ships,
• Armies must not be hidden in ships inside of ports.
• No sallying forth in a siege to deny your besieger the opportunity to sack your settlement.
• Post pictures of battle odds, involved armies, their banners and the results. It is advised to hide everything else, especially the mini map and your finances.
• Settlements gifted should disband all units save one. No gifting regions in a war zone ( bordering faction at war with, or under threat )
• Armies defeated by a player (b) that comes after the original player (a)'s turn cannot move next turn, so if Tyrell defeats a Lannister army that army cannot move next turn. - Exception: Reinforcing armies standing in defenses, even if defeated, don't lose movement points. So player 'a' is allowed to move the army that reinforced another while in a fort even if defeated by 'b'.
• Heroic victories are banned
• No watchtower spam to prevent forting, admin will be the one to decide if it is or not so dont risk it.

I interpenetrate Dux's comment as an explanation of why our sieges were lifted and we were at peace rather than a demand. Even if it was I would still have attacked those two stacks because I could not let them just leave, not with myself only having a single stack in the Reach. So here are the pics and Yronwood can play his turn now.

Anyway guys, I will remain the admin here, hope that we can find the rest of the players and that they move to this forum, this hs is on hold until we get all that shit sorted. For now, we can just mourn leaving TWC :P

Still not playing until I see the pictures of the battles, also an attack on the Lord Commander of the Warriors Son's is an attack on the faith and shall be met with war, unless you care to rethink your actions.

I claim victory in this hotseat. It was fun as long as it lasted, but I cannot wait two weeks, I leave next week for a 3 month trip to South Africa.

Well, I conscientiously omitted the fact that one of those weeks has already passed, but if no one has the stones (or the capability) to attack Lannister, he's won, de facto.

I agree with Dux. I wasn't very active lately so I didn't even get the time to check this thread, if I did I would have invested a bit of time to kickstarting everything. I think I will let the players decide whether they want to put this HS on hold until Dux comes back and then we can maybe try to restart if- or declare Dux winner right here and now. I do not like to finish hotseats halfway through, and this hs is not really done yet, so I support the on hold thing

I would very much like to continue, hotseats can be really entertaining even after everyone has thought they were ended. I am sorry for not having put the pictures up I have been away for the last two weeks and was literally frantically hurrying to do it before I left out of wifi range, I thought I had managed but obviously not. So sorry again and here they are

Anders Bloodroyal, Lord Commander of the Warrior's Sons, Surrounded and besieged by the heathen Ironborn, and with no aid insight from his brothers in faith the Lannisters. Writes his final goodbyes before preparing his men to fight to the death against this blight on the land in one final stand.



With his death soon to be upon him he names Ryone The Sword of Morning as the new Lord Commander of the Warrior's Sons.
