Hiya, after years of playing i finally have the secret to increasing player ratings.

Have a couple of seasons just normal playing with the squad you start with plus a few additions.

The 3rd season you want to go for 17-19 year old players on each position, if in the top league go for 70+ rating

Train these players everyday in this order

    5 a side - physio - 5 a side - physio -5 a side across the seven days

    and goalkeepers

GK - GK across the seven days

leave these players training in the background for 2 seasons, do not use them in match day squad

If for example you get a 75 rated 17 year old player after 2-3 seasons he will be at around 82+ rating

Make a copy then open your savegame with a hex editor. The file is large and scroling is impossible. Use "search memory" and search for one of your players last name. Be sure its a unique last name. Now you have found him and all your other players in the hexcode. From the first letter of a players last name (including his first letter) you count 24 spots. Spot 24 is the first ability of the player followed by 23 other abilitys. Edit all those 24 spots. 99 is not the highest stat. 150 is the highest stat. Save the savegame file. Start the game. You have now a player with 150 in every skill. Edit the whole Team and you almost never loose a game ever again. I use cheatengine to open the savegame files. You can also edit the names of the players if you want to.

    Hey everybody,
Is there anybody here still playing?
I recently started playing the game again. I am now 37y.o and it brings back memories. The thing I find most annoying now is that nearly
every game I play is abruptly ended by Third Party Investments. Anybody else has the same problem?

does that 5aside-physio training work for every position? I'm struggling to increase my player's Overall rating at Wing Back, Central Defence, Defensive Midfielder, and Wingers.

Yeah I'm still on this game and been following this threat for years too ha thanks for the tips. I have a bit to contribute but for now I will ask for help on my Attendance Frustrations. I like to dabble with the Hex and make my fav players more reasonable and regen talent of the time i.e John Terry, Gareth Barry, Rio, Gallas et al, and the mid-term joiners get a dose of age-defining tampering Romario, Higuita, Edmundo, Ayala. I've cheated and got ?Billions but can't even get half full stadia at ?1 per ticket. I know there is a way to charge ridiculous amounts but only ever seen it done once by my friends younger brother who used to steal this game for himself... he's 35 now. Still love this game and on it now perfecting my way to Marseille's 370,000 capacity stadium work for me.

Training-wise: 5-a-side & Match only, 2 teams of 11 on different/opposite regimens especially at busy periods to cover the weekday and weekend matches with lots of rotation to maximise x4 training sessions.

First thing I do is buy all the optimised ATT sub ?500k players and make big bucks to fund my stadium and team activities (when not glitching).

Also have a separate folder for saved games and copy/replace when lose or displeasing result.

FIFA Soccer Manager 1997, a groundbreaking title released by Electronic Arts (EA) in 1997, not only revolutionized football management simulation but also introduced a fresh perspective on 6v6 soccer formations within the gaming world. The inclusion of 6v6 soccer formations within the game not only added a layer of strategic depth but also introduced players to the nuances of managing smaller teams.
