After the death of former Great King of Hungary the ruling class decided that a year of peace will be dedicated in honour of the Great King, a year where no offensives would be launched so that all Hungarians could pay their homage to thr fallen king – a year of peace, but not mourning. For there was nothing to mourn. The old King had lived a warrior life. He defeated many enemies of the Hungarian people in his life and under his rule his Kingdom expanded and thrived. No men wanted to be under any other general's command as it was almost certain that under King's command victories will be achieved even against the most experienced enemy. And in times of peace the King's rule was strict but fair. The King has lived a long life and he also lived to see his son and heir become a great general and a worthy successor to the throne. The old King achieved everything a man could ask for and in the end he also died as he lived. He will forever be remembered in the history of Hungary as one of the greatest leaders that ever lived.
After the year of peace a new King has been crowned – King Nehemias. He is a young King but he too knew that only the most worthy of men can rule such a Kindom so he adopted and chose the most worthy man in the Kingdom as his heir – Vata the Conqueror. Some may dispute his decision but the King now knows – Kings are not born, their are made in the fires of war. Only there can one's true personality be seen, when his life is on the edge, only then can his skills truly shine.
As a proof that he is a worthy successor Vata took his army and lead them against one of the most powerfull armies of our enemies – the Moors. Defeating such professional and experienced army, lead by a Moorish heir, who was rummored to be a living saint with a vision of Prophecy that was given to him by the Almithy himself, was no small task. Despite that the news quickly reached home that our heir was victorious and his army only suffered minimal loses.
The few who doubted the King's decision to make this man as his heir were now proven otherwise too.
