Ring bell

Hi guys, Iam new to game and I want to ask what the yellow ring bell over my general means?
I cant put picture here because I have new profile. Sorry

Not sure what you mean. Is the bell on a pole at the front of the general's unit on the battle field? Or is it on/above the unit card in the bottom center of the screen? Or is it on the pole the army icon carries on the campaign map?

I don't think they mean anything. To my knowledge, they are decoration, maybe just a symbol of your clan or taisho.
